Not all but some Irish does feel insulted by this so unless you are Irish too, it is best not t use it since you never know who is gonna feel ofended.

Irish are ill-mannered, manly, brutal and trouble makers . Women are put even lower due to the fact they are incapable to declare independence, they should know their position or gain any sort of power.

It demonstrate how the American citizens felt towards the Irish Declaration of Independence and how badly they wanted to spread nativism to the public in order to provoke the Irish and lead them into retreating.
